The goal of this clinical trial is to learn how a partially self-supervised constraint-induced movement therapy (sCIMT) program in adults with arm and hand weakness will work after stroke. This study will look at whether the program can help people improve the use of their arm and hand after a stroke while requiring less time with a therapist. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does the sCIMT program help people use their affected arm and hand better - after a stroke? - Do participants feel that the sCIMT program is useful, easy to follow, and a good fit for their recovery needs? - Does taking part in the sCIMT program improve participants' quality of life and daily well-being? Participants will: - Take part in a therapy program 5x/week for 2 weeks. The program is designed to help improve the use of the arm and hand affected by stroke. - Wear a mitt on the stronger hand during certain practice activities to encourage use of the weaker hand. - Complete surveys and tests before and after the program to measure arm and hand use, experiences with the program, and quality of life.

Himalayas-1 is a randomized, open-label, global, multicenter phase 3 study evaluating whether the combination of rinzimetostat with darolutamide is more effective compared to physician's choice of control; ARPI (darolutamide or enzalutamide) or docetaxel for treating patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who were previously treated with abiraterone acetate. The proposed project aims to implement and evaluate a novel, family-based lifestyle medicine intervention integrating group Shared Medical Appointments (SMAs) for parents and adolescents with a twelve-month medically tailored groceries (MTG) and six-month culinary medicine Food is Medicine program. The intervention provides adolescent weight wellness treatment through a holistic, community engaged approach leveraging family connection, clinical care, and nutrition support. Monthly SMAs will include time for parents and adolescents to meet independently and conclude together. These visits will be co-led by physicians, dietitians, and health professionals. Parents will receive the Ardmore Institute's Full Plate Living program while adolescents receive Tufts Pediatrics Strong, Positive and Resilient Kids (SPARK) Weight Wellness program. The SMA format is reimbursable, fosters peer support, enhances patient-provider interaction, and allows efficient delivery of education and care. Each session will include nutrition and lifestyle education, review of individualized weight care plans, and proactive goal setting tailored to adults, adolescents, and families.

This study is testing a new approach to help people with first episode psychosis transition successfully from the hospital to outpatient mental health care. Many patients lose contact with services after they leave the hospital, which can lead to worse outcomes. The investigators have developed a Transition Care Team (TCT) that works with patients while they are in the hospital and continues to support them after discharge. The team provides therapy, case management, and coordination with community programs that offer ongoing care. The main goal of the study is to find out if this new program increases the number of patients who successfully begin outpatient treatment after hospitalization, compared to usual care. The investigators will also look at whether the program improves symptoms, functioning, and overall well-being.

The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effects of reminder and mindfulness text messages based on integrated Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (ACT+MBRP) on medication adherence and managing craving, pain, mindfulness, and withdrawal symptoms in people taking medications for opioid use disorder and with chronic pain through assessment questions collected six times daily during the course of treatment. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Do daily medication reminder text messages increase medication adherence for people taking medications for opioid use disorder? 2. To what extent do people engage with the daily mindfulness messages? 3. Do participants receiving a structured curriculum of mindfulness messages delivered twice daily differ from those receiving randomly selected mindfulness messages delivered four times daily in engagement with the intervention? 4. How do the two mindfulness text messaging interventions differ in their effects on intervention engagement, craving, pain, mindfulness, and withdrawal symptoms? Participants will: 1. Receive daily medication reminder text messages for 12 weeks (i.e., 3 months) 2. Receive either 2 or 4 mindfulness messages per day for 6 weeks 3. Answer brief assessment questions six times per day during the 6-week mindfulness text messaging period 4. Complete questionnaires at enrollment (baseline), once each week during the 6-week mindfulness text messaging period (6 total), immediately after the 6-week mindfulness text messaging period (post-treatment), and 6 weeks after the mindfulness text messaging period ends (follow-up)

This study is a quasi-experimental study collected quantitative data , with a pre-test-post-test design. Pre-intervention, baseline measurements of C5-C6 right facet joint length and width with the head of the treatment plinth downward at 45 and 90 degrees, (relative to the rest of the table) and stiffness at 90 degrees, were taken prior to applying the long-axis thrust manipulation. Post-intervention measures were taken immediately after a long axis thrust manipulation of C5-C6 and again at 24-hours after the manipulation. The baseline pre-intervention measures were then compared to the post-intervention measurements. The investigator performing the manipulation was blinded to the quantitative measurements of the ultrasound images. The ultrasound operator was blinded to the outcome of the manipulation.

Practitioners prescribe O2 to patients with chronic lung disease in hopes of the following: 1)1 expand

Many patients with chronic lung disease (e.g., chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or interstitial lung disease (ILD)) require supplemental oxygen (O2) at some point during their disease course. Practitioners prescribe O2 to patients with chronic lung disease in hopes of the following: 1) that it will limit desaturation events and combat breathlessness, thus preventing the frustratingly slow pace and numerous rest breaks patients are forced to adopt while doing even simple tasks; 2) that it will allow patients to be more active physically (perhaps increase their ability to exercise) and socially (perhaps leave the home more often); 3) that it will stave off putative complications of hypoxemia (e.g., cognitive dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension) and 4) that it will improve health-related quality of life (HRQL). However, despite the rationale for O2, and prescribers' good intentions, patients generally view O2 with frustration and fear - it threatens their HRQL, which is already impaired by having a condition that imposes itself on every aspect of their lives. Nasal cannulas and delivery devices call unwanted attention to patients when they are out in public. O2 users feel stigmatized and are often viewed as "smokers who get what they deserve, even if they never smoked a day in their lives" - or as disabled, sick or even infectious. O2 steals patients' independence, forcing them to plan their lives around it. The anxiety that patients and their caregivers experience around running out of oxygen, or not getting enough, immobilizes them and restricts participation in activities outside of the home. O2 disrupts the home environment, adding stress, and creating a burden for patients' caregiver-loved-ones who are often saddled with the responsibility of ensuring adequate equipment and supply of O2, and O2 is a constant reminder to patients they are living with a condition that could shorten their lives. O2 delivery equipment is typically heavy, unwieldy and intimidating. Different recommendations (e.g., insurance companies use 88% as a cut-off for SpO2, while many practitioners focus on 90%) make it confusing for patients, which almost certainly affects adherence. O2-requiringpatients are starving for things that can make their lives easier. An auto-adjusting O2 delivery device - one that automatically delivers the correct amount of O2 to maintain blood oxygen at desired, pre-set levels - would alleviate the need for patients to constantly (incessantly for many) monitor their peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) and adjust O2flow to meet the demands as exertion levels vary . The MoblO2 device is a battery-operated, light-weight, closed-loop O2 delivery device that houses a regulator (which attaches to compressed gas O2 tanks) and adjusts O2 flow to meet a pre-set blood oxygen level. A pulse oximeter is worn on the ear and transmits via Bluetooth to the device, which adjusts an internal valve to control flow on a second-to-second basis. The user sets the dial to the highest flow of O2 needed to meet the demands of activities they might perform (up to 15 liters per minute), and the device adjusts flow, up to the pre-set level to maintain SpO2 at a preset level (e.g., > 90%). To conserve O2 supply in the tank - and to avoid over-oxygenation (which could be problematic for a small percentage of patients with the most severe COPD) - the MoblO2 begins to limit O2 flow at a SpO2 of 93%. The device can be manually over-ridden by the user, and should the battery run out - or the device fail for some unforeseen reason - the default position is valve open, so the users receive whatever flow of oxygen has been set on the dial. Given the substantial burdens of O2 on patients and their families, the hassles patients describe with having to monitor their SpO2 and repeatedly adjust the flow of O2 to meet their needs, patients and experts around the world have called for improvements in O2 delivery equipment. The MoblO2 is just such a remarkable improvement and a giant step forward in helping to ease the burdens of O2 on patients who require it. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the MoblO2 O2 delivery device on a range of outcomes, including physical activity, amount (liters) O2 use; maintenance of adequate SpO2 levels; patient reported outcomes including symptoms, HRQL and satisfaction with the MoblO2 O2 device.

This discrete choice experiment (DCE) study aims to address gaps in cannabis packaging regulatory research by testing how variations in cannabis packaging and health warning design impact reactions to packaging and intentions about cannabis use. The goal of this work is to identify the most effective combination of health warning features to improve consumer awareness of cannabis health risks. Establishing criteria for cannabis products in the US is critical because inconsistent state guidelines have resulted in contradictory policies in legal retail states, arguably leading to increased hazardous use and failure to meet public health standards. This study is testing whether a non-invasive nerve monitoring device (TetraGraph) can accurately detect early signs of ICU-acquired weakness by comparing readings from the device with standard nerve conduction/EMG tests done by a specialist to see if they match. They will focus on muscle response signals in the hand and leg over about 10 days in three groups: healthy volunteers, ICU patients who are not on ventilators, and ICU patients who are on ventilators.
