This study is designed to evaluate whether the Miro3D Wound Matrix, when used in addition to standard of care, improves healing outcomes in patients with chronic diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetic foot ulcers are a common and serious complication of diabetes and may be difficult to heal despite appropriate treatment. Standard of care typically includes regular wound cleaning, debridement (removal of dead tissue), offloading (reducing pressure on the wound), and moisture-balancing dressings. However, some wounds fail to heal with standard treatment alone. Miro3D Wound Matrix is a three-dimensional, acellular scaffold derived from porcine tissue that is intended to support wound healing. This study will compare outcomes in patients treated with Miro3D plus standard of care versus standard of care alone. Approximately 180 adult subjects with non-healing diabetic foot ulcers will be enrolled at multiple clinical sites in the United States. After a two-week screening period, eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Miro3D in addition to standard of care or standard of care alone. Subjects will be followed for up to 12 weeks with weekly clinic visits. The primary objective of the study is to determine whether treatment with Miro3D increases the rate of complete wound closure and improves reduction in wound size compared to standard of care alone. This study is testing whether offering buprenorphine treatment directly at syringe service programs (SSPs) helps more people start and stay in treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) than referring them to community buprenorphine treatment providers. Buprenorphine is a medication that helps reduce opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. The study compares two ways of connecting people to treatment: Referral to a community treatment provider (usual care before the new program begins). Onsite, low-threshold buprenorphine treatment at the SSP, which allows participants to start medication quickly and without having to establish care at another provider. Participants will be adults who have opioid use disorder and are SSP clients. Each SSP will begin offering the new onsite buprenorphine program at different times during the study. Researchers will collect information before and after the new program begins to see how it affects treatment engagement and health outcomes. The study will also examine how easy or difficult it is for SSPs to start and run the new program, how acceptable it is to staff and participants, and whether it is cost-effective. This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, best dose and effectiveness of AB801 in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy in treating patients with cholangiocarcinoma or pancreatic adenocarcinoma that may be removed by surgery (borderline resectable), that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), or that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). AB801 is a drug designed to block a protein called AXL. AXL is found on the surface of certain cancer cells and plays an important role in helping tumors grow, spread to other parts of the body, and avoid the immune system. It is thought to contribute to resistance against common cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy. In many cancers, including cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic adenocarcinoma, AXL is overactive and associated with worse outcomes. AB801 inhibits AXL which may make cancer cells more sensitive to chemotherapy and allow immune cells to better recognize and attack the tumor. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine, cisplatin, oxaliplatin, irinotecan, leucovrin and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab and zimberelimab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving AB801 in combination with chemotherapy and immunotherapy may better treat patients with borderline resectable, locally advanced or metastatic cholangiocarcinoma or pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The primary objective is to describe characteristics of participants newly initiated with dupilumab for COPD. Secondary objectives are to determine whether treatment with dupilumab reduces moderate and/or severe COPD exacerbations; to determine the impact of treatment on lung function in COPD participants; to determine whether treatment with dupilumab improves the quality of life in COPD participants; and to describe safety of dupilumab among COPD participants. The external control cohort will include participants with COPD from the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network (PCORnet) consortium who are not being treated with dupilumab. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if preterm infants who are prescribed antibiotics shortly after birth can safety receive a shorter course of antibiotics (24 to 36 hours instead of 48 hours). The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does short-course ampicillin provide high enough levels of ampicillin at 48 hours? - Is short-course ampicillin safe for preterm infants to receive? Preterm infants who are being prescribed ampicillin by their doctor and enroll in the study will stop ampicillin after a shorter than typical course, and researchers will collect blood samples to measure their ampicillin levels and follow them clinically to see how they do after receiving short-course ampicillin. Participants will: - stop ampicillin earlier than 48 hours (between 24 to 36 hours, depending on how premature they are and the dosing of ampicillin their doctor has prescribed) - have one or more blood samples collected, including one around 48 hours from when they started ampicillin - have their data collected until 30 days after they receive short-course ampicillin, or until hospital discharge, whichever is sooner Type: Interventional Start Date: Jul 2026 |
