Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is characterized by aggressive and rapid growth and a tendency to develop early spread to distant sites including mediastinal lymph nodes, liver, bones, adrenal glands, and brain. The purpose of this study is to assess safety, tolerability, and change in disease activity of ABBV-706 compared to standard of care (SOC) treatment (topotecan, lurbinectedin, or amrubicin). ABBV-706 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of SCLC. There are two treatment arms in this study. Participants will either receive ABBV-706 or SOC. Approximately 531 adult participants will be enrolled in the study across 175 sites worldwide. Participants with SCLC will receive intravenous (IV) ABBV-706 or SOC [topotecan (IV or orally), or lubinectedin (IV), or amrubicin (IV)]. The estimated duration of the study is approximately 53 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic and may require frequent medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires, and scans. This study is testing whether a new medication called CX11 works and is safe for participants with type 2 diabetes who have not reached good blood sugar control while taking a steady dose of metformin, with or without a steady dose of an SGLT2 inhibitor, for at least 90 days. The study is being done at multiple medical centers. Participants are assigned by chance (randomized) to different groups, and neither the participants nor the study staff know which group they're in (double-blind). The groups are compared side by side (parallel), and some participants will receive inactive pills (placebo) to help measure the true effect of the study drug. After screening, participants will be randomly placed into one of six groups, with equal chances of being in any group. Each group will receive a different dose of CX11 or a placebo. Treatment will last 24 weeks. After that, all participants will have a 2-week follow-up period to check on safety. Type: Interventional Start Date: Feb 2026 |

DOC1021 is a dendritic cell immunotherapy derived from a patient's own blood cells and loaded with antigens from the patient's tumor in the form of tumor lysate and mRNA. The goal is to stimulate a T cell immune response that eliminates tumor cells. The study consists of two components: an initial phase I safety study to confirm safety/tolerability of the treatment regimen, and, subsequently, a single-arm phase II cohort to assess efficacy of the treatment regimen. All participants will: - Undergo a leukapheresis collection (take filgrastim subcutaneously x 5 doses, if clinically necessary, leading up to collection) - Receive two doses of DOC1021 under image guidance 2 weeks apart - Receive subcutaneous pIFN injections weekly for a total of 4 doses in parallel with the DOC1021 injections - Undergo an optional image-guided perinodal DOC1021 booster injection approximately 6 months after the first DOC1021 dose along with additional subcutaneous pIFN injections at time of the booster and the subsequent week for a total of 2 pIFN doses - Visit the clinic regularly to assess quality of life, symptoms, medication use, imaging, bloodwork, and to receive optional treatment with anti-PD1 agents Type: Interventional Start Date: Apr 2026 |

Researchers are looking for new ways to treat HIV-1 (Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1). The usual (standard) treatment for HIV-1 is antiretroviral therapy (ART), which includes taking medicines to lower the amount of HIV-1 in the body. Standard ART helps people live longer, but people must take up to 3 medicines up to twice a day. Standard ART may also cause other health problems. Researchers want to know if a study ART works as well as a standard ART to treat HIV-1. The study ART combines 2 medicines, islatravir and ulonivirine, and is taken once a week. The goals of this study are to learn: 1) If the study ART works as well as a standard ART to treat HIV-1, and 2) About the safety of the study ART and if people tolerate it compared to a standard ART. Dental caries (tooth decay) is the world's most prevalent noncommunicable disease. Current preventive and therapeutic treatments are available that can be provided in a school-based health service environment. However, not all children respond to care, and school programs can result in under- or over-treatment, leaving children at high risk. The Building Adaptive School-based Interventions for Caries (BASICS) study will identify the optimal sequence and intensity of these treatments to minimize nonresponse, creating adaptive interventions tailored to specific needs in order to personalize school-based dental medicine.
