This clinical trial evaluates how decreasing the dose of radiation to the elective neck (areas of lymph nodes not directly involved in the cancer) impacts treatment outcomes in patients with human papillomavirus (HPV)-related oropharyngeal cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, particles, or radioactive seeds to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Radiation therapy plays an important role in the treatment of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer, but it also causes significant toxicities. Given the significant toxicities associated with treatment, and the excellent outcomes of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer, researchers are attempting to identify methods to de-escalate treatment for HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer in an effort to maintain excellent treatment outcomes while reducing the risk of toxicities. Reducing the dose of radiation therapy to the lymph nodes in the neck that aren't directly involved in the cancer may improve patient quality of life while still maintaining excellent rates of cure of disease.

Mothers with substance use disorders face unprecedented stress in their roles as parents working to care for their children while maintaining healthy recovery. Mothering from the Inside Out (MIO) is the first attachment-based parenting intervention designed specifically for mothers in recovery from substance use disorders that has been shown to have benefit for both mother and child in multiple randomized controlled trials. The purpose of this study is to compare how well Rina-S (GEN1184) works compared to treatment of physician's choice (paclitaxel or doxorubicin) that are considered standard medical care for the treatment of recurrent or progressive endometrial cancer (EC) following prior therapy. There is an equal (50:50) chance of getting either Rina-S or a chemotherapy agent as treatment in this study. The study duration will be approximately 3 years. The treatment duration will be different for every participant, but an average of 4 to 6 months is expected. All participants will receive active drug; no one will be given placebo. Participants will be randomized 1:1 to either SGT-003 in Part 1 followed by placebo in Part 2 or to placebo in Part 1 followed by SGT-003 in Part 2. This phase I/Ib trial tests the safety and side effects of asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi-recombinant-rywn (recombinant Erwinia asparaginase) and venetoclax in combination with blinatumomab and how well the combination works in treating patients with CD19 positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi, a type of protein synthesis inhibitor, is a drug that is made up of the enzyme asparaginase, which comes from the bacterium Erwinia chrysanthemi. It is used in people who cannot take asparaginase that comes from the bacterium E. coli. Asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi breaks down the amino acid asparagine and may stop the growth of cancer cells that need asparagine to grow. It may also kill cancer cells. Venetoclax is in a class of medications called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking Bcl-2, a protein needed for cancer cell survival. Blinatumomab is a drug used to treat certain types of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that are CD19 positive (expresses the protein CD19). Blinatumomab binds to CD19, which is found on most B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some types of leukemia cells. It also binds to a protein called CD3, which is found on T cells (another type of white blood cell). This may help the immune system kill cancer cells. Blinatumomab is a type of bispecific T-cell engager. Giving asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi and venetoclax in combination with blinatumomab may be safe, tolerable, and/or effective in treating patients with relapsed or refractory ALL.

Participants who are experiencing abdominal pain due to having cancer in their pancreas may be eligible for this research study. For this type of pain, doctors often recommend radiation therapy to help with the pain. This radiation therapy is called stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Preparing1 expand

Participants who are experiencing abdominal pain due to having cancer in their pancreas may be eligible for this research study. For this type of pain, doctors often recommend radiation therapy to help with the pain. This radiation therapy is called stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Preparing for SBRT typically takes a week or longer. In this research study, doctors want to test a new workflow in order to shorten the time it takes for participants to receive SBRT to help with their pain. Doctors typically determine how to administer the SBRT by doing a simulation, which requires a CT (Computerized Tomography) scan. The CT scan is used to create a treatment plan. It can take time to schedule this CT scan and then it takes 5-10 days to create a treatment plan. A way to reduce the planning time for SBRT is to use the CT scan that participants had when their cancer was diagnosed to plan the SBRT. This new workflow can cut down the time it takes to schedule another CT scan and plan for and deliver SBRT. The workflow where doctors use a pre-existing CT scan is called CTsim-free treatment planning. CTsim-free treatment planning is what is being tested in this research study.
